Following on from the success of their summer jam ‘Drive N Motion‘, which was championed by The FADER, BBC 1Xtra and Earmilk, to mention a few, and ‘Buss It Up’ with Big Tobz and Deefundo, which has been supported by Highsnobiety, Spotify, GRM Daily, Nation Of Billions and Rinse FM, among others, and having been nominated for ‘Producer Of The Year’ at the GRM Daily Rated Awards, acclaimed London producer-artist duo and UK Afrowave pioneers TEAM SALUT are currently flying high with their new ‘Shaku Shaku‘ collaboration with Afro B, which is now playlisted by Capital Xtra and KISS Fresh, and being supported by BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Beats 1 and Rinse FM, as they gear up to release their long awaited and highly anticipated EP in 2019.
On top of hitting 3 million plays on their own singles as artists, ‘Hot Property’, ‘Wagon’, ‘Buss It Up’ and ‘Drive N Motion’, Team Salut are also the production force behind some of this year’s biggest cultural hits and phenomena, including Yxng Bane’s latest single ‘I Needed This‘ and his massive hit ‘Vroom’ before that, which has been certified silver, and is the Disturbing London artist’s highest UK charting solo single, as well as Afro B’s viral sensation ‘Drogba (Joanna)’, which is nearing 50 million plays.
The fast rising producer-artist duo also left their stamp of Sneakbo’s seminal Brixton album, Kojo Funds debut project Golden Boy, and produced the official remix for Banx & Ranx and Ella Eyre’s UK Top 10 single ‘Answerphone‘, among other achievements this year.
