CelebMix Features New Pheelz Single ‘Go Low’

On the back of his scene-stealing songwriting and production work with R&B legend Usher on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart-topping album Coming Home, where he helmed the album’s lead single ‘Ruin’ as well as the album title track ‘Coming Home’, award-winning Nigerian artist, producer, and songwriter PHEELZ is excited to unveil his brand new single ‘GO LOW’, as featured in CelebMix. Out today via Warner Records, ‘Go Low’ is an upbeat and undeniable future hit track that sees the highly celebrated music star and multi-hyphenate Pheelz continuing his steady rise to superstar status worldwide.

Arriving just in time for festival season, ‘Go Low’ layers slick synths over a club-ready beat teeming with uncontainable energy, with Pheelz right in the centre of the dance floor, as he assures, “Girl I know you feel the magic on the speakers”. The track culminates on a catchy chorus with the chant, “Go low low low low,” twisted up with lush saxophone. Pheelz will also be performing the new single live for the first time this weekend at SXSW, as he brings his signature world-class production, velvety vocals, showmanship, and infectious earworm melodies to the Rolling Stone Future of Music stage.

‘Go Low’ comes on the back of Pheelz’s latest two singles ‘Joy’ and ‘Jello’ topping the charts in Nigeria, and across West Africa to begin 2024, while amassing over 20 million plays online along the way. The BET Award and MOBO Award nominated hitmaker is now laying the groundwork for the release of Pheelz Good II, the follow-up project to last year’s critically acclaimed Pheelz Good EP, which garnered nearly a billion streams, and birthed the viral hit track ‘Finess’, and was championed by global tastemakers including Billboard, Rolling Stone, and TIME Magazine.

Speaking about ‘Go Low’, Pheelz says, “The song’s main inspiration is love and the song is a story about a boy and a girl on the dance floor. ‘Go Low’ is me just trying to make a feel-good song that everybody can party with, and dance together with. I just want to share joy and share positive energy always – there’s already too much negative energy in the world. ‘Go Low’ is for the speakers, for the club, for the car. ‘Go Low’ is for everybody, it’s for the dancers out there, and all my people that like to have fun. It’s a feel-good song so I just want everybody to have fun with it, and enjoy”.

Having also been named Pandora Artist to Watch, and Amazon Music Class Breakthrough Artist to Watch, with co-signs from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, and Barack Obama, among others, and partnerships with the likes of Disney Plus, and EA Sports, Pheelz is in the form of his career. Already buoyed by his work with Usher on the early contender for R&B album of the year, Pheelz has also been in the studio working with The Chainsmokers, Kali Uchis, and Pharrell Williams, among others, with his new single ‘Go Low’ offering a taste of what to expect on his upcoming solo project, Pheelz Good II.
