Fast-rising British Nigerian Afro-Pop/Afrobeats star MOELOGO unveils the long-awaited and hugely anticipated music video for his massive 2014 single “The Baddest” featuring UK Rap heavyweight and BET Award winner GIGGS, and produced by the prolific Bayoz Muzik.
Shot in London and directed by Ralphynik and Bruno from AfroWorldWide, starring the stunning Nqobilé from CEO Dancers as Moelogo’s leading lady and featuring choreography from GOP Dancers, plus cameo appearances from Bayoz Muzik, Ezi Emela, Sona and Mr. Bigz, the visuals for “The Baddest Remix” is a fierce, hard-hitting and exhilarating affair which elevates the record to new echelons.
Continuing its onslaught on Europe and Africa, “The Baddest Remix” remains dominant on the BBC 1Xtra playlist, with heavy support from tastemakers such as Trevor Nelson, Charlie Sloth, DJ Edu, DJ Abrantee, Beat FM and key Afrobeats online media platforms. Over the infectious Bayoz Muzik instrumental, inspired by the groove of the late Fela Kuti, it’s easy to see why both Moelogo and Giggs are in such boisterous mood – “The Baddest Remix” is a certified hit!
Asking listeners, fans and critics alike “who is the baddest”, Moelogo and Giggs throw down the gauntlet for all comers this year and boldly proclaim their exceptional talents, with Moelogo even comparing himself to the likes of Chris Brown and Trey Songz, while Giggs delivers a trademark braggadocios rap verse, demanding haters to “sit back down, why you jumping up?”.
