Fast-rising London singer, songwriter and musician, and BRIT School alumni KIT RICE, who has been backed by the likes of BBC Radio 1, Music Week, Complex and MTV UK, returns in 2018 with his brand new single ‘Dance All Night’, premiered via FAME Magazine, as he announces the release of his highly anticipated debut album titled Konfidence, which hits shelves on June 25 via KAR Records, and distributed via AWAL.

Revered as one of the most exciting new vocalists to emerge from the UK R&B, dance and electronic music scenes, Kit Rice’s last project, 2016’s Living Life EP, led by the single ‘Not Enough’, was championed by Music Week, Complex and MTV UK, among others, while 2017 brought two massive collaborations with DJ Freek, which were supported by Kiss FM, Capital Xtra, Rinse FM and BBC 1Xtra, to mention a few.

His new single ‘Dance All Night’, written and produced by Kit himself, and mastered by Nigel Walton (Basement Jaxx, Krept & Konan, Bloc Party), is an infectious slow-building R&B funk offering, which brings together, everything fans and critics have come to like from Kit Rice – from his excellent vocal abilities and artistic versatility, to his songwriting dexterities and performance prowess – and displays it in all of its soulful glory.

Speaking about the inspiration for ‘Dance All Night’, and how the record came about, Kit Rice says, “I had just had the night of my life at Heaven in London, and I literally heard this track in my dreams that night. I woke up the next morning, and immediately jumped on the piano to bring it to life, and I’m really proud of how it came together. ‘Dance All Night’ is about meeting new people in unexpected places”.

Giving more insight to the record, Kit Rice adds that, “If you listen to the lyrics, feel the bass, and transport yourself to a different place, then you’ll understand what this song is about. I like the music to speak for itself and listeners can take what they want from it. It’s all about interpretation. Some people might hear this song as an upbeat song to dance to, and it is! But others will understand the true meaning”.
